Two European funded research projects launch in 2025
Our international team of 8 countries received a recommendation for funding from Biodiversa+ to investigate grasslands within solar parks in the context of how Nature-based Solutions (NbS) can provide synergies and trade-offs for human well-being and mitigate anthropogenic factors contributing to the loss of biodiversity. Corvinus University of Budapest has been awarded an Interreg Europe grant, taking the lead in a European consortium focused on sustainable finance. The project, titled “NATUREFIN – Align Nature Impacts of Regional Development with Sustainable Finance Regulation,” aims to address nature-related risks and preserve biodiversity through innovative sustainable finance and enhancing policy instruments for regional development.” Details in the news.
